I Have Really Sensitive Skin, Can I still Use Your Products? Our products are 100% natural and they can be used on all skin types, especially sensitive skin. All of our products are suitable for anyone who has Eczema, Rosacea and Psoriasis. We recommend a patch test to ensure everything is ok. When starting a new product, be mindful and start slowly. Use every second day to get your skin used to the change. There is more information available in our Blog Posts about purging that can happen when changing skincare products.

Can I Use Your Products If I’m Taking Acne Medication? Absolutely! Due to the fact that they are completely natural your able to use them with any medication.

How Long Should I Wait To See Results From Your Product? We recommend that you allow up to 4-6 weeks to see much clearer results as your skin cell turnover is increased. We recommend that you return the product (and they will need to be returned) via Registered Post and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore we advise you insure your parcel. Mastica Dérma Pty Ltd will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

Sensitive skin often reacts to harsh chemicals and preservatives in skincare as well as common allergens. These reacts can result in facial redness, breakouts, dry patches and irritation. The easiest way to create skincare for sensitive skin was to leave out these ingredients.

The entire Mastica range smells AMAZING! These fresh scents come from natural essential oils and extracts from herbs rather than adding artificial scents that can irritate sensitive skin.

Common symptoms of sensitive skin are facial redness, excess oil (your skin trying to ‘protect’ itself), eczema, dry patches and discomfort (tightness and itching).

We use powerful natural anti-inflammatory ingredients including aloe vera, mastic (which is also amazing for balancing oil and healing your skin), thyme extract, calendula and more. These anti-inflammatory ingredients can quickly diffuse facial redness and balance out your skin, as well as help to relieve the symptoms of sensitive skin.

Whether your skin is oily, dry or both oily and dry at the same time, strengthening your skin’s barrier can relieve the symptoms of sensitive skin as well as prevent breakouts and dry patches. Natural hydrators and strengthening oils such as rosehip oil, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid repair your skin’s acid mantle resulting in your skin being a whole lot less sensitive and getting a healthy glow.
